Treg gives agents a shared gateway to external tools and data. Its catalog covers tasks such as SEO research, web scraping, company enrichment, and social publishing. Developers can discover endpoints by task and inspect their prices before calling them. The hosted service offers pay-per-call access alongside connections to existing provider accounts. It is useful for teams building agents that need several services without managing each integration separately.
The open-source repository describes both the hosted service and self-hosting. Teams can register their own APIs, skills, and CLIs; resources are scoped to an organization. For proxied HTTP requests, Treg injects provider credentials on the server. Catalog calls prioritize a team's configured tool or provider key, then use an eligible public route or Treg-funded access. Compare the selected endpoint's current terms rather than treating every call as free.
Getting started
Read the agent onboarding reference, create an account, and select the team that will supply access and billing. Follow the official CLI installation instructions; the documented CLI requires Python 3.12 or later. Sign in with treg login, or connect an MCP client to https://treg.to/mcp/ using the documented OAuth or token setup.

Practical limits
MCP access requires authentication. A connection grants access within the selected team's scope, and billable catalog work uses its balance. Provider limits and endpoint availability still apply.
